Consultations are by appointment only.
Appointments can be made by telephoning the surgery or in person at reception.
As from the 1 April 2004, all patients are registered with THE PRACTICE and not with a specific doctor, but patients may express a preference to see a particular doctor when making an appointment. However should the doctor of choice be unavailable, you will be offered an appointment with another GP.
You may prefer to wait to see a particular GP and this may result in waiting for more than 24/48 hours.
Should you be unable to keep an appointment, please contact the surgery to advise of a cancellation giving as much notice as possible so that the appointment may be offered to another patient.
EMIS Access Online Appointment Booking
To increasing patient access to our services we offer a 24 hour online appointment booking system. First of all you must register to use the internet appointment booking facility. Ask the receptionist for a registration form, which provides the information you need to register to use the internet facility. After initial registration, the system will allow patients to book, cancel or check appointments on the Web, whatever time or day and send you immediate confirmation of the booking.You will automatically be added to the appointment list, so there is no need to re-confirm by e-mail or telephone â€“ just arrive promptly on the day!
Once the registration process is complete, you can log on to the appointments systems using your individual patient number and password, and will be able to view appointments you have already made, cancel them if necessary, and book an appointment with your doctor after checking the times available.

7 DAY ACCESS (NEW SERVICE)
South Sefton GP Extra is a new 7 day access service, providing appointments Monday to Friday in the evening and on Saturday & Sunday mornings. Please ask reception for appointment booking or details on this new service which is based at Litherland Town Hall Hatton Hill Entrance.
