Consultations are by appointment only.

To book an appointment an on-the-day appointment:

• Use an online form called eConsult by clicking here  (Available from 8am Monday - Friday)

• Phone us Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm

• Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm

• Telephone consultations can also be booked using online access (NHS App, Patient access etc.)

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

The GP will then assess if a face-to-face appointment is required. Please note, there are no pre-bookable appointments.

As from the 1 April 2004, all patients are registered with THE PRACTICE and not with a specific doctor, but patients may express a preference to see a particular doctor when making an appointment. However should the doctor of choice be unavailable, you will be offered an appointment with another GP.

You may prefer to wait to see a particular GP and this may result in waiting for more than 24/48 hours.

Should you be unable to keep an appointment, please contact the surgery to advise of a cancellation giving as much notice as possible so that the appointment may be offered to another patient.

7 DAY ACCESS (NEW SERVICE)

South Sefton GP Extra is a new 7 day access service, providing routine, non-urgent evening and weekend appointments with a Doctor, Practice Nurse or other health care professional.
